PROGRESSION

Final Project

In this final stage of the project, I have to fix all the issues I have got in the previous project, and also complete the thing that I have yet to finish. In the previous assignment, I mentioned about feeding the animal food. However, after watching some YouTube tutorials and asking for some of my friends' help, I do not seem to know what exactly is the problem of the animation not coming out when played. Below is some of my progression for this stage of the assignment:

Fig 1.1; Animating vegetables;

Fig 1.2; Adding audio

Since in my proposal, I mentioned that letting users know what the animal sounds like is more fun, I decided to add audio of a roar into it. Thanks to YouTube, I know how to make the game object with an audio and also only sound out when onclick.

Next, I added a new scene which is for the animal scanned, it's basically an additional information scene where users get to know more about the scanned animal.

REFLECTION

In this stage of the project, it is basically completed. I just have to add more things into my app. The part that I have to figure out how to feed the animal is seriously challenging for me, as I'm not too sure what the problem is. I tried to schedule an appointment with my lecturer, however, it seems that everyone thought of the same thing. So in the end, I can only do what I could. However, it is undeniable that throughout these 14 weeks, I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding what experiential design is, and also how to create a AR app using Unity. Like I said in my first project, I felt nervous and scared for whether if I would be able to handle the difficulty of the module. Although even now, I won't say that I have completely grasp it, but I think that I definitely made some improvements compared to when I first started off.
