Project 2: Experiential Design Prototype
In this project, we are to create the app that we have decided based on the
proposal that we submitted. In my case, since I have decided to use my first
idea Anipedia, I then first started off by making the UI buttons and whatnot.
I decided to make all the illustration, buttons and whatsoever in Adobe
Illustrator, below is my progression:
Fig 1.1; Artboard in AI;
Fig 1.2; UI buttons;
After making all these buttons and illustrations, I then imported them
into my Unity file. Then I started to find some suitable free from
copyright images on the web and see if the rating is over 3 stars.
After this I started to find suitable assets to make my app work like
how I wanted it to. In unity's asset store, there's tons of 3D models,
animation. And I just so happen to find on something that fits what I
want. I then also imported both the image target and the assets into my
files.

After making sure the assets and image target are working, I then
adjusted it to the size and position I wanted. After that, I start to
create the interface for the interaction as per my proposal.

Next, I start to make the animations and buttons work together, this took me a lot of time compare to the others as I have to understand the animator and onclick commands. Luckily, I was able to complete it with YouTube's help. Below is some of my progression:
After that, I proceed to add a scanning screen.

FEEDBACKS
You have to have a direct plan of how your app looks like, it's not just talking about the ideas, but planning each screen and page is better as you will know more about the direction of the app.
In this assignment submission, since its a prototype, it's alright to make mistakes.
REFLECTION
This project is tiring me out pretty fast. Although this may be nothing or "EZ PZ" to some, but I'm not exactly a fast learner, and it took me quite a lot of time to stay focus on what I need to do. The part where I have to connect the buttons with the animation is the hardest part to me in this stage of the project. However, after realizing the theory behind it, I was lucky that I got to figure it out and applied it to my case. Thankfully, everything turned out pretty well.
