PROJECT 1: LANDING PAGE DESIGN

Wireframe Sketches

In this project we are to design a landing page. First of all, we need to start by sketching out the wireframe.

The above is a very brief sketch that I have made. The topic that I have chosen is a custom watch services and products. So I thought of making it like this. I have take a few reference from websites like Pinterest and others. I like how some of them look and decide to combine a few of them.

I decide to take this instead. However, this is not the final one as I do not know how it would look after placing all the images and others. Nonetheless, I continue the design in Illustrator.

The above is a few color palette that I think look quite nice. Next, I proceed to finalized my design.

FEEDBACKS

General Feedbacks: Wireframe sketches should be in black and white. Call to action button must be clear. 

Specific Feedbacks: There must be space between your navigation bar and your first section, so that people can view it comfortably. It would be better to remove the background images for your services section. Watch out for the alignment in your services section as you will be using grid system. 
 

REFLECTIONS

In this project, I'm not too sure as how to feel due to how I'm lacking the skills in layout composition, and I think that my designs are really just very normal. There's not much to it as well. I think that this is the skill that I would need to improve. Even so, I feel that this project is actually very fun as we get to design out own website considering this is a continuous project and in the end we would be able to make our own website. I learned quite a lot as well in this project, on both the colors side and layout composition in a website.

Fig 1.1; Reaper Test Game; sauce:  TDS Gamezone ; Although the graphic of this game does not feel as good as the other game in Gamezone. However, it is still nice as it uses simple shapes and design, the colors used in the game does not feel very out of place, the background also feels alright, but for my first time playing this game, I did not know about the environment of the game.
